The Performance Engineer will be part of the Core Services Performance Assurancetower under the IPM tower. The Engineer will be responsible for delivering Performance Testing and Certification for Servicing Applications and will need to be familiar with the concepts of the Performance Engineering and Validation. The right candidate will also help modernize the performance testing services . The PE engineer will also work on bringing Continuous Performance Testing to thedevelopment teams. The Candidate should take an active partnering role with the developers bybecome the PE automation experts who will enable test harnesses to support the CI/CD process. Where needed, the engineer willreplace downstream services with mocksto allow more frequent and independent testing.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
·3+ years experience with either the HP LoadRunner / Performance Center Performance Testing Suite or the JMeteror any other similar loadtesting tool and developing VuGen / JMeter Scripts for performance testing
·3+ years experience in setting up Test models usingLoadRunner/PC/JMeter.
·3+ years experience in developing Performance Test Plans and Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents while specifying Testing Overview, Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities.
