XAIN is a berlin-based tech company specializing in IoT networks and AI products.
Having prevailed over 120 startups, XAIN AG won the 1st Porsche Innovation Contest in summer 2017. The company is now involved in several projects with its customers, including Porsche and Daimler.
Since, XAIN has developed a new data structure for hybrid clients, which are directly integrated into embedded systems, such as microcontrollers and IOT devices, for end-to-end secure communication. Currently, the company is developing a universal, secure and user-centric access control language for IoT networks.
We are currently looking for a dedicated and ambitious Python Backend Engineer (m/f) to join our team of international multi-talents at our office in Berlin Mitte. You will be creating highly scalable systems and develop advanced machine learning infrastructure and models in collaboration with our AI Engineers. Together with our DevOps team you ensure a seamless integration of new services into the existing infrastructure.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Create and maintain key backend services that support our AI-powered product
- Create highly scalable, parallelized data pipelines
- Create infrastructure to bring ML models into production
- Craft and scale elegant, consistent, gRPC APIs
- Take care of continuous integration, test suites
- Build tooling for deployment automation & configuration management
Requirements
- Expert in Python
- Experience with Docker
- Experience in building production systems
- You are using version control systems, preferably Git
- At least 3+ years developing scalable BigData systems
- Experience with AWS or similar platforms
- You have experience working on-premise
- Test engineering & test-driven development
- Experience with Cassandra and Kafka is a plus
- Meeting defined reliability & performance requirements
- Business proficiency in English language, German is a plus
- Full time availability and eligibility to work in Germany
