College of DuPage seeks full-time, tenure track faculty member to teach Computer Informaiton Systems (CIS) courses starting in August, 2019. The successful candidate will join a dynamic department contributing to student success by teaching foundational and advanced courses in our state of the art labs (and online). This includes working diligently with colleagues to ensure teaching materials and program curriculum reflect the latest technology and are aligned with transfer institution and industry needs. Faculty will also be advising students on their academic and career paths, supporting students in co-curricular activities, and building strong connections with education and industry partners.
Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats during days, evenings and weekends.
- Five years of industry experience in related field required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
Two years of teaching experience required.
Experience developing software using C++ and Python programming languages preferred.
Experience using and developing for Linus OS required.
Experience developing software for VR, AR, Game Consoles, and Microprocessors preferred.
Expertise in Data Analytics preferred.
