Software Engineer/Test Automation at JP Morgan Chase (Jersey City, NJ)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• 
  Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

• 
  Proficiency in modern programming languages

• 
  Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
• 
  
• 
  Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

• 6-10 years of software engineering experience, in testing automation and/or application development
• 
  
• Experience defining and automating acceptance tests using tools including Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Protractor
• 
  
• Desired experience in Testing with tools like SOAP UI, HP Load runner, Apache JMeter.
• 
  
• Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages such as Java, C#, Groovy, Powershell, VBScript, JavaScript, Python, and typescript
• 
  
• Experience in continuous integration tools such as Jenkins/Hudson, version control such as SVN/GitHub
• 
  
• Experience as an Agile team member
• 
  
• Experience writing SQL to query databases, to assist in analysis and testing
• 
  
• Knowledge on XML and JSON parsing
• 
  
• Experience in creating Mock Testing Services
