SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT - PERM - ORLANDO, FL


Solutions Architect Requirements:
* Translates business requirements and vision into efficient/scalable architectural designs, following the global architectural goal for the system.
* Works with Developers to create Proof of Concepts on new initiatives
* Works with Developers to ensure the code written is in-line with architectural designs
* Works closely with Quality Assurance members to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of systems/applications.
* Estimates cost, and prepares business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support
* Actively studies and increases knowledge to enhance current and future implementations of our technology
* Stays up-to-date with upcoming changes to current technologies and industry trends.
* Participates in a variety of planning and development activities.
* Reviews code and upholds strict coding standards
* Responds to emergency situations as needed for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
* Identifies root cause of bugs/issues and resolves them quickly.


Solutions Architect Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field OR in lieu of degree, 7+ years of .NET/C# development/architecture experience.
* Experience with/ deep understanding of the following architectural patterns and concepts:
o Unidirectional Data Flow
o Domain Driven Design
o Repository Pattern
o Lambda Architecture
o Service Oriented Architecture
* Experience with/ deep understanding of the following technologies:
o Microsoft Azure and associated tools/plugins or any cloud experience (AWS, etc)
o Service Bus, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, DataLakes, etc
o Containerization and Container orchestration - they are moving towards this (key words docker, kubernetes)
o .Microservices
o .NET
o .NET Core
o C#


Pluses
o JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
o AngularJs
o Node.js
o Dependency Injection (via Unity, Simple Injector etc) -
o Entity Framework
o Web API
o SQL as well as NoSQL DB such as Mongo, Cassandra, DocDB etc -one of these
o Visual Studio
* Passion for speed and optimization within the development process
* Interested in analytics processing and familiar with industry software
* Experienced with agile development using Scrum/Kanban
* Experience with Git (Github, Bitbucket)
* Experience with Jira or similar
