WHAT YOU’LL DO: POSITION OVERVIEW
- Build next generation applications to solve complex problems in the real estate industry
- Work with a world-class engineering and product team to deliver innovative products for our customers
- Design, build, and test high quality complex frameworks and systems while being diagnosing and resolving complex issues
- Implement continuous build and automated unit test frameworks
- Ensure that implementation follows designs, and directs modifications of designs
- Lead, mentor, and develop eager junior and mid-level engineers
WHO YOU ARE: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 7 years’ experience or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5 years’ experience in Software Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience building a modular, scalable Javascript SPAs (Single Page Applications) with any MVC framework like EmberJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in developing applications in Python, using any of the MVC frameworks like Flask, Django, etc
- At least 1 year of expertise in JQuery, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap3 and related technologies
- Strong knowledge in Design Patterns and principles, experience in developing Web services, JSON and related architecture
- Ability to write scalable and efficient REST APIs to deal with JSON which handles requests 365/24/7
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL
Preferred Experience Includes
- Basic knowledge of NodeJS and SocketIO web sockets
- Experience working with message queues like RabbitMQ and Celery
- Some experience with any other Object-Oriented languages like C#, JAVA
