As a DevOps/Automation Engineerof our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Youll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. Youll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of whats being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, youll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world. The DevOps/Automation Engineer is responsible for setting up, managing, and evangelizing the culture, practices, processes and tools that enable the business of software development and operations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of agile and the various points at which development and operations could be improved by better process improvement, tools, automation and metrics that can be gathered to improve CCBs transformation.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
  • 10+ years of overall experience with an emphasis on information technology
  • Subversion, GIT/Stash and Bitbucket administration and deployment skills, training, and experience.
  • Implementation and administration of containers using Docker, AWS, cloud foundry, Kubernetes. Puppet, Chef and Ansible for automation
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira, confluence
  • Development experience with Java technologies is nice to have
  • 10+ years of experience leading transformational cross-functional IT initiatives
  • With a proven background in leadership capacity on automation, performance engineering design and implementations
  • Strong execution mind-set to manage and track progress against transformation goals
  • Certified Scrum Professional/Master, Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), and/or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification is a nice to have
