This position is primarily responsible for development and support of critical front office fixed income applications. We are looking for people with technology skills, business expertise, and excellent communication skills, to be part of a medium sized development group supporting the front office applications for Asset Management.


This roll will require the developer to design, develop, code, test, debug and document programming applications to satisfy requirements of the Fixed Income team. They will typically provide some high level production and technical support to systems being developed. They will also provide comprehensive consultation to the business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. You will work closely with the Fixed Income business team to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Additionally, you will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.


The successful candidate



  • Work closely with Fixed Income end users.

  • Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications

  • Examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes and procedures

  • Utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies to ensure applications are suitably fit for use and admissible for maintenance/upgrades

  • Test, modify, and implement application codes; make standard modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with high-level specifications, application support and industry standards

  • Work with both onshore and offshore development teams.

Qualifications/ Experience



  • Full stack developer with minimum 5+ years of programming / application development work currently doing hands on development and coding.

  • Must have experience with distributed application development using Java/Spring/Spring-boot and messaging.

  • Working knowledge of multi-threading, data structures and design patterns is expected.

  • Working knowledge of relational database technology ( Oracle and PLSQL preferred)

  • Must have experience with UI technologies - Jsp, javascript frameworks like Angular, bootstrap preferred.

  • Experience with build and deployment toolset - GIT/Stash source code repository, Jenkins & Maven, Control M /Autosys, Unix shell/python scripting is desirable.

  • Experience in Agile and Cloud technologies, Continuous Integration/Deployment (CICD) processes is desirable.

  • College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income asset class and trading systems is a plus.
