Responsibilities:
Data
- Manage a Data team dedicated to supporting various data stores/warehouses
- Manage the staff responsible for building and maintaining our business data systems
- Responsible for uptime and usability of data systems
- Manage workflow and priority of projects requiring data team resources
Staff Management
- Manage data projects
- Manage group of technical staff
- Perform reviews
- Track time off for staff
- Manage one-on-ones with staff
- Follow up with clients
- Mentor/coach staff
- Oversee and work on relevant projects as needed
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate work resources and schedules
- On-call scheduling, and duties
- Escalation management for data team
Preferred Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- High level of commitment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
- 2-5 years of experience preferably in a technology environment as a doer
- Knowledge of rich media and content management
- Understanding and experience in IT security concepts and execution
- Understanding of and experience with the full software development lifecycle, including functional and technical specification, implementation, QA processes, deployment, and maintenance
- Proficiency in agile, kanban or other planning tools
Job Specification:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Engineering, Computer Science
- Generally requires 8-11 years related experience
