Lead Infrastructure Engineer - DevOps and API Development at Scale at Averity (New York, NY)

What’s the Job?

We are a leading brand in short form entertainment. We’re looking for a Services Engineer to help improve our system to provide the most relevant content in real time. As the lead you will report directly to the VP of Technology.

We are heavily containerized and run Docker/Kubernetes in-house. You will be supporting any of our native app products and maintaining the massive amount of traffic on the API.

What are we looking for?

   • Really strong Java ( Major plus if on JVM)      

   • Strong AWS

   •  Build tooling and help SWE's with CI/CD pipelines 

   •  Strong understanding of Container Technology 

Plusses:

     • Experience from a startup 

     •  Great Personality/Soft Skills 

     • People who have worked in large scaling environments
