We’re now looking for a technologist with a deep professional interest in, and understanding of, data and its potential to help us serve more people, faster and better! This role is one of technical leadership as we design new cloud-native systems for acquiring and leveraging data across our product lines.
This role is based at our head office in North Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on new ways of acquiring, moving, storing and analysing data in cloud-based infrastructure.
- Design data architectures to support new software platforms.
- Develop and execute data migration strategies.
- Design and implement data analysis and visualisation solutions.
- Implement “big data” management strategies with a view to powering machine learning solutions.
- Design and implement data security infrastructure including encryption and access control mechanisms.
Requirements
- 5 years of industry experience in enterprise software and/or database development.
- Production experience in designing, developing or operating cloud infrastructure such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Compute Engine.
- Demonstrated commercial experience with various data persistence modalities including relational databases, NoSQL databases, bulk object stores, and real time data replication.
