Junior back-end developer for Box+Dice, an Australian company in Prague at Box+Dice (Hlavní msto Praha, Czechia)

You’ll be joining a brand new team in Prague which will eventually become Box+Dice’s Global Development Hub.

A candidate for this role has some backend experience with web development (any language), is precise, accurate and wants to learn.

This role is suitable for candidates who are willing to learn and improve their skills.

OUR TECH STACK:

• 
  
• Our backend is powered by monolithic Rails application;
• 
  
• Frontend is built as a single-page application using Backbone with Marionetter.js on top of that. For iOS/Android development we use React Native;
• 
  
• On the system level we use MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ and Debian;
• 
  
• Our infrastructure is running on top of AWS.
• 
  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• 
  
• 1-2+ year’s experience with development;
• 
  
• Knowledge of any back-end language;
• 
  
• Readiness to start learning Ruby (Ruby-on rails);
• 
  
• Willingness to learn and improve
• 
  
• Fluency in English
•
