We at Apple Inc. are looking for a Security Software Engineer to conduct security assessments on our Digital Rights Management (DRM) and security technologies.
Key Qualifications:
Strong Knowledge of general security concepts
Experience with reverse-engineering techniques
Good knowledge of cryptography
Experience low-level debugging and programming (assembly, C)
Experience with penetration testing techniques
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required to collaborate with other groups within and outside the company.
Description:
Join the team and you will have the opportunity to conduct assessment of complex products, looking for security issues and suggesting efficient mitigations. You will perform reverse-engineering analysis of protected binaries, understand and attack cryptographic implementations, assess the security level of products and services.
You'll need to possess strong skills in the area of reverse-engineering techniques, static and dynamic binary analysis, source code and design reviews. You'll also need to demonstrate experience of digital rights management, asset protections, software implementation, software vulnerability, consumer expectations and behaviors in this space. Multiple platform experience would be very helpful.
Education:
Master in Computer Science/Information Security or equivalent work experience.
