FATV is seeking to add a highly-experienced Javascript developer to our team. Working under our CTO, you will be responsible for helping to maintain our existing applications and infrastructure, while working on larger projects including new features, new products, and integrations with third parties. FATV relies on a wide-range of open-source technologies including Node.js, React, Redux, Next.js, Drupal, MongoDB, and MySQL.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about the latest web technologies and are excited to bring their expertise to the table to improve our products. Superior problem solving skills and the ability to communicate your ideas to the team are a must.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Node.js experience
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience
- Skilled in the following languages: Node.js, Python and PHP
- Highly skilled with modern databases (MySQL and MongoDB)
- Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendered Javascript framework
- Experience with React, Redux, Next.js, Webpack and Babel
- Proficient with modern front-end web technologies and techniques: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive design
- Proficient in use of development tools including Git and JIRA
- Strong communication skills, team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with Drupal CMS
- Experience developing real-time applications
- Experience with the Material-UI React library
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Experience with Linux and web server administration
