Your Role:
Do the words ‘API Development’ make you smile? Did you know that Tenable is looking for a Mulesoft Integrations Developer? This Integrations Developer will be responsible for software analysis, design, development, documentation, defect resolution, and implementation on MuleSoft’s Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The Developer will be responsible for adhering to integration and development standards, customer relationship standards and best practices. The Developer will report to the Integrations Manager in our Business Platforms department.
Your Opportunity:
- Development of integrations and API’s using enterprise integration patterns and frameworks
- Works in a test-driven environment
- Comfortable communicating software features to technical and non-technical audiences
- Collects, generates or helps refine high level requirements and creates implementation strategy, acceptance criteria (with input from customer) and test cases
- Deploys solution to QA and UAT environments and resolves defects discovered during user testing
- Assists operations in deploying solution to production
- Protects confidential customer data and implementation details
- Comfortable working with team of developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Design new API applications, as well as enhance existing API solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert in conversations related to application and system integrations
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in Java or similar object-oriented programming language
- 3+ years of Mule ESB experience or similar technology
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services, RAML in Mule, and use of connectors for integration
- Working knowledge and experience with integrating common SaaS applications such as Workday, Salesforce.com, NetSuite, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot, deploy, and tune integrations
- Experience using JSON, XML, XSLT, JMS , REST, and SQL
- Solid understanding of integration design patterns, SOA/EAI best practices
- Experience with data transformation, such as JAXB, XStream, XSLT, CSV or fixed-width
- Knowledge of end-to-end business processes including Lead-To-Order, Procure-to-Pay, and Quote-to-cash is a plus
- Programming experience with Java, JavaScript, Groovy
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Frequently communicates with team members and clients using remote communications tools, such as Zoom, Go-to-Meeting, Google Hangouts, Webex, etc.
- Strong awareness of information security, and is able to design solutions using common security frameworks (OAuth, SAML, HTTPS, etc)
