Watershed Full Stack Developer
We’re on the hunt for our next Full Stack Developer to join our growing development team. This role is for someone who lives and breathes full lifecycle development, embraces critical thinking, and can apply his or her problem-solving skills to address the ongoing technical requirements for our core products. We’re looking for someone who wants to dig into the code, create clean and efficient code, and improve both our product and processes with his or her skills and perspective.
The right person for this role has an innate desire to learn new technologies and grow his or her technical skill sets. That said, you’ll be ahead of the curve if you have some experience with Java, data processing, and web programming. We don’t expect you will know everything about the HTTP protocol inside and out, but some working experience with REST APIs and web servers would be great. And if you have some familiarity with Javascript programming and modern JS frameworks, that would be a bonus.
You’ll score some extra credit if your skill set also includes experience with:
- Amazon Web Services
- Python
- Unix-based systems and command line tools
- Continuous integration systems
- System automation and configuration management
What you can expect
Your day-to-day life at Watershed will focus on executing the full lifecycle of software development for our flagship product, advising on technical details and feasibility of proposed features and enhancements, and maintaining and improving our product and process.
