Maintaining a relationship with our external development agency & Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for the day to day running & upkeep of our e-commerce & PHP based website, as well as the delivery of big and small website development projects.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Ensure the delivery of web projects from start to finish as per their brief (includes scope development, budgets, timelines)
- Maintain and prioritise a BAU development backlog (running on 1-week sprint cycles) working with our external development agency
- Be responsible for testing & launching new features, functions and fixes (including cross browser and cross device testing)
- Using Google Analytics to help locate bugs and poor performing areas of the website
- Quality check all developed code according to our development & PHP standards
- Quality assurance testing including introduction of automated testing
- Maintain product feeds for Google and shopping comparison
- Working to improve page load times and site speed
And A Bit About You
- Have a real passion for website development, user experience and business growth
- Have an advanced understanding of programming (PHP) but not expected to be an expert (that's what the developers are for!)
- Have an understanding of Scrum and Agile development methodology
- Be ready to commit, we want someone who wants to grow with us over the next 3 - 5 years
- Have a 'nothing is impossible' attitude, willing to figure out how to solve any problem that comes your way
- Be a hard worker, someone who will go all in and do what’s necessary to deliver
