About the role
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the provisioning, configuration and maintenance of platforms supporting the eNett business. This includes maintaining production payment platforms, and development and test environments to support software engineering.
What you'll be doing
- Determining technical requirements, produces technical designs, server configuration templates and the automation required to manage infrastructure on premises and in the cloud.
- Setting up and maintaining development, test/production servers and infrastructure for online applications.
- Creating Document Standard Operating Procedures for troubleshooting
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
What you’ll bring
- Expertise in Azure and strong experience with on prem to IaaS/PaaS Cloud
- Experience with automated deployment, configuration and scripting tools
- Scripting experience in Powershell
- Solid experience working with Windows Server (2008/2012/2016), Hyper-V, Active Directory (& Group Policies)
- Solid Networking experience with DHCP, NSG, DNS
