This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and lead the development of both existing software products and IT equipment applications as well as participate in the development of the "roadmap" of future software products and functionality enhancements. This role is considered a stepping stone as the company continues to grow its business solutions on a global basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Will work closely with CTO and other advisory personnel to evolve the roadmap, architecture and product offering to increase company footprint in SaaS.
- Analyze RFPs and other requirement specs to contribute to technical content in proposal activity
- Manage software project teams to create solutions for customer contracts, in=house development projects and base functionality for the future roadmap.
- Create project Gantt charts and use of other project management tools as needed.
- Engineer SQL database structures
- Write software in the MS Visual Studio environment using C# and Visual Basic
- Liason with Operations to assess the performance of company software systems, make modifications and make recommendations for upgrades.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
- 5+ years development experience with at least 2 years in development of enterprise-side systems
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET framework
- Must be fluent in MS SQL including large data structure management (> 1 billion records)
- Experienced with MS SQL table replication
- Relational Database Structure
- Programming in C# and Visual Basic
- SSRS Report Generation
- Web based application programming including responsive screen mapping
- IOS and Android mobile device environments
- ASP.NET Core MVC
- Knowledge of international firewall requirements
