As a Senior Software Engineer, a typical day may include the following:
- Developing thorough technical requirements based on business needs
- Developing high-quality code based on detailed designs that meet requirements
- Creating comprehensive documentation, conducting thorough testing and following defined change control processes
- Providing support for a mission critical application
- Demonstrating a high level of initiative and attention to detail during daily operations
- Implementing and maintaining internal, private and public Web Services
This job may be right for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
- 8+ years of ASP.NET, C#, .Net MVC Razor, Entity Framework and .Net Core experience
- Experience with Web Services, including ASP.NET Web API and REST/JSON
- SQL development experience (stored procedures, performance tuning/optimizations)
- Knowledge of Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio 2015/2017 and GIT
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed agile team
You’re extra awesome if you have:
- Interest and experience within the hobby gaming industry
- Experience with eCommerce and transaction-based applications
- Proficiency in:
- Elasticsearch
- RabbitMQ
- Redgate SQL Toolbelt
- NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB)
- Anugular / Vue / React
- Umbraco CMS
