We are seeking a Software Engineer / Application Developer to become an integral part of the LJSA retail consulting team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying custom software and specialized utility programs for the benefit of a retail client.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design/develop software solutions
- Work with customer project manager to meet specification needs
- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational and application efficiency
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Perform routine software maintenance
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
- Strong knowledge and experience with Java and other programming languages
- Experience with Micro-services, RESTful services, Node.js
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- U.S. Citizen or work authorization required
