Senior Java Developer – Full Stack
Are you ready for the next challenge in your career? We are looking for a skilled developer to join our Full Stack team and to work on the next generation of our services. In this role you will be part of a team delivering Australia’s leading property data solution (http://www.corelogic.com.au/products/rp-professional). You will be required to develop solutions all the way from the front end right down to the CoreLogic APIs. Responsibilities in the role include:
- Designing, coding and testing Java based applications
- Ability to create a technical strategy and execute
- Preparing and maintaining systems documentation
- Monitoring, analysing and troubleshooting services
- Mentoring less experienced team members
Skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Strong Java, Javascript (AngularJS, jQuery), SQL and Spring / Spring Boot experience
- Expertise in building JSON/RESTful web services
- Good understanding of cloud based web application architecture and micro-services patterns.
- Experience in DevOps, APM (AppDynamics, newRelic) and log aggregation tools (Splunk, Logstash)
- Ability and willingness to learn new frameworks and paradigms.
- Any working experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry would be well regarded but not necessary
- 7+ years experience in Programming and Applications Design, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline. Tertiary qualifications in computer science or equivalent industry experience
