We are looking for exceptional front-end engineers who can help architect, design and implement key front-end components of SugarCRM's core products. Expertise in open-source technologies, modern web standards / best practices, JavaScript and its ecosystem are required for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, you love it and understand all its quirks
- Solid experience with object-oriented programming concepts applicable to JavaScript
- Proficiency in client-side technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
- Prior experience with Git
- Prior database and integration experience using REST APIs, SQL, and web services
Responsibilities
- Create, improve and maintain core application framework and shared components
- Work with Product Management and UX to understand, analyze and implement product requirements
- Follow proven design patterns, write readable, testable and well-documented code
- Extend and optimize current software architecture
- Participate in design and code reviews sessions as part of our development cycle
- Evaluate, identify and suggest appropriate technology choices
- Explore and evangelize new software design and architecture
- Adapt to a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, flexibility, and commitment to meeting deadlines are a must
Location: Cupertino, CA
