Pre-Sales Engineer for Contact Data Management
Experian Data Quality (EDQ), a division Experian, has a contact data management solutions centered around validation and verification. Our Sales Engineers put their technical knowledge and professional communication skills to work on our largest and most complicated deals. In collaboration with our senior account managers, they rigorously evaluate complex deployments involving custom software or integrations, and design solutions that win over our clients. The ideal candidate is one willing to use their creativity, intelligence, communication skills, and technical prowess to drive ROI for our clients.
Core Responsibilities:
• Customer facing pre-sales solution design and management
• Work with internal EDQ departments to design solutions to drive sales
• Generate Statements of Work, requirements documents and technical designs
• Facilitate post-sale knowledge transfer with customer delivery teams
• Subject Matter Expert on specific technologies and EDQ products
• Assessment and discovery with clients in the Financial, Retail and Government sectors to determine data problems, needs and pain-points
• Educate these markets on our offering, how they can help, and key differentiators in the market
• Consult & scope on proof of concepts (PoCs), reports, and help build cases with the client to justify investment
Requirements:
• Familiar with API integration and web technologies such as JSP, .NET, PHP, REST
• Familiar with common development environments such as .NET, Java and C
• Experience working with UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments
• Ability to build prototypes for custom solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with sales process and very comfortable in commercial setting
• 2+ yrs in a pre-sales role supporting the sale of software or services such as advising clients on data quality
• Located or able to relocate to the greater Boston area
• Eligible to work in the Unites States
