Publishing Services is seeking a talented engineer to manage its message transfer agent (MTA) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with SparkPost’s (formerly Message Systems) Momentum product. Candidates with 5+ years of experience working with other MTA server products such as Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, and qmail will also be considered. The ideal candidate will also have experience working on a team where they have provided mentorship to others. Your natural knack for solving the problems and challenges associated sending large volumes of email will be called upon constantly and you must use your excellent communication skills to properly convey your thoughts and ideas to your team members and management.

Responsibilities
- Momentum installations/upgrades
- Momentum configuration, including but not limited to:
- Bindings
- Seed lists
- Sending Domains
- DKIM Signing
- Injectors
- Traffic shaping rules
- Write custom policy in LUA
- Tweak Adaptive Delivery rules
- Monitor and maintain the speed and health of the MTA infrastructure
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of Messaging Platform Specialists
- Work with the Publishing Services Deliverability team to ensure that customer emails are delivered to the Inbox.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with SparkPost’s (formerly Message Systems) Momentum product.
- 5+ years of experience working with other MTA server products such as Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, and qmail will also be considered.
- Experience with installing/maintaining applications in a Linux environment (CentOS preferred).
- Experience with SQL querying.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to clearly articulate and document procedures.
