We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches while collaborating with our talented product owners, developers and designers. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
About You:
You have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You are competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality. You are also a team-player and have the desire to be in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fluid environment, where you will be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with the product team and developers to create effective strategies for continuous testing
- Execute both manual and automated test cases and analyze the results
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues by fixing bugs or investigating details and escalating to the development teams
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience as a QA tester or in a similar technical role
- Passionate about project management and QA methodologies
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and best practices
- Knowledge of Javascript
- Familiar with React.js and/or Angular.js is a plus
- Comfortable with Github and Terminal
- Well organized and task oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
