You’re joining a small team of passionate developers at Qontis in Switzerland, Zurich. Together we are working on a cutting edge personal finance management tool using a modern web development stack. As an integral part of our team, you're invited to take part in all aspects of the product design and development. We are looking for a candidate that loves to code, is eager to support our team and is willing to work in a dynamic environment.
Your mission
- You will design and develop modules and features for our personal finance management tool with the latest web technologies while taking account of the high demands relating to security, stability, quality and performance
- You will be responsible for technical analyses and implementations of our customer requirements
- Besides these tasks, you will write reusable and accessible UI components, analyze problems, fix bugs and handle 2nd level support
Your background
We expect to see:
- A passion for programming and writing the best possible applications
- Top-notch programming skills and a track record of at least 3 years of getting stuff done
- Experience in C#, .NET Framework, Entity Framework
- Experience in REST Services
- Experience in MS SQL Server
- Experience in HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Experience in JavaScript Frontend Frameworks (Angular, React)
- Experience with git
- Eager to learn
- Persistent, analytical, customer- and results-oriented personality
- Team player with good communication skills
- Excellent command in both spoken and written English
We would love to see:
- University degree in Computer Science, or any equivalent education in information technology
- Experiences with automated testing
- Experiences in agile methodologies (Scrum)
It’s a plus if you have:
- Communication skills in German
