You will be responsible for:




  • Building single page applications in React and Backbone talking to our RESTful API

  • Scoping new features for the platform with the Product and UX teams

  • Contributing to the engineering roadmap

  • Managing multiple projects across the business simultaneously






You will have the following experience:




  • Essential

  • Minimum of 3-5 years commercial JavaScript experience

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in React and Node

  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related IT discipline

  • Experience working with APIs to achieve scale

  • Experience with build tools including NPM, Webpack, Gulp

  • Experience with Git

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience in performing optimisations such as caching/asset CDNs

  • Working in an Agile manner

  • Working knowledge of software testing methods and quality assurance

  • Excellent English communication skills






  • Desirable

  • Full stack experience preferred

  • Experience with Isomorphic applications including server side rendering

  • Experience with Development Operations tools such as Ansible, Packer

  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails

  • Contributed to the open source community

  • Interest in the startup and technology community

  • Experience with EmberJS
