We are not just looking for an exceptional coder, we are looking for a collaborative, resourceful project leader with a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills. As the first in this role, the candidate should be a self-starter with the flexibility to take on new tasks and an eagerness to investigate new ways of doing work that increases efficiency. This developer role will leverage your hands on coding and leadership skills with other developers and vendors to deliver world-class solutions.


Candidates should have prior experience developing advanced iOS mobile and MacOS desktop apps. This is a full-time position and is primarily based onsite at our client’s Sunnyvale/Cupertino offices (shuttle from various Bay Area locations available), with occasional time (typically one day per month) spent at our San Francisco office.


Qualifications



  • Expert understanding of Swift, Cocoa/ Cocoa Touch; experience with Objective-C

  • Familiarity with the Swift Standard Library

  • Deep experience with iOS SDK including frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, AVFoundation, Core Spotlight, and Core Text

  • Experience with SceneKit, SpriteKit or similar graphics related technologies

  • Up to speed with the latest macOS and iOS version changes, features and requirements

  • Experience writing well-documented, object-oriented, multi-threaded, asynchronous code

  • Demonstrated experience in writing commercial grade apps iOS and macOS, with a keen eye for pixel-perfect detail

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to clearly and professionally lead discussions with clients

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent


Extra Credit:



  • Experience with internationalization of app content

  • Experience implementing accessibility specifications

  • Web UI development experience a plus

  • Intimate knowledge of iOS and MacOS design patterns and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines

  • Currently have apps deployed on the iOS App Store
