Q2 is seeking aSoftware Development Manager for the Front End Development team to be responsible for leading a team of developers that enhances Q2’s online banking software and extends its capabilities. This individual is responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring the developers. Additionally, this individual will take an active part in project planning, sprint prioritization, and is responsible for the timely execution and quality of Front End Development team’s projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee sprint planning, retrospective and daily scrum meetings
- Work closely with product, sales, and implementations on project scope and scheduling
- Instill best practices for software development, assure adapter designs meet requirements, and deliver high quality work on time
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Act as a Front End Development technical resource to customers, prospects, and internal teams
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 7+ years of previous development experience needed in front end development tools and frameworks.
- Must have at least 1+ years’ experience managing development teams
- Experience in a client interfacing role required
- Experience in Scrum methodologies
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Knowledge and experience in the banking industry preferred
- Experience integrating applications with core banking platforms desired
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain patient with non-technical customer
- Plus: Developing financial industry related software.
