Primary responsibilities are to design, develop, implement and support document capture solutions for IBML clients.
The essential functions of the Software Application Specialist consist of but are not limited to the following:
Understand the software for ibml core products
Design, Implement and Support ibml applications for delivery to ibml end users
Provide Software Design Input
Program in Visual Basic, VB.Net, Java and other Web based applications
Perform Unit and Integration Testing
Provide support for creating and debugging SQL Scripts
Willing to travel both domestic and internationally
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance
Confer with systems analyst, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Other duties as deemed necessary to support company objectives
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent undergraduate degree with demonstrated programming experience
Required Minimum 2 years programming experience in a professional environment.
Experience with Java Development, Relational Databases such as but not limited to MySQL, SQL Server, Experience with Source Control Systems. Experience in Web Development with AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
Knowledge of Operating Systems including Windows 7, Server 2003 and or 2008. Computer languages including but not limited to Visual Basic 6.0, VB Net, Java
Knowledge of Web development including but not limited to AJAX, CSS, ASP.Net, JavaScript, HTML
Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, SQL.connector, XML and Web Services Demonstrated knowledge of object oriented analysis and design
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with software/systems integration methods and technologies.
Self Motivated and works with little supervision
