TomTom delivers highly accurate maps of the world. For this we rely on intelligent mapmaking; TomTom invented and perfected a highly efficient hybrid approach that combines professional mapmaking methods with crowdsourced input from map users, resulting in a map that is highly accurate and current.  This is proven time and again as TomTom maps are chosen to power industry leading brands like Apple, Uber and Volvo cars.


Product Unit Autonomous Driving is responsible for the ADA and HD map service and related software products for autonomous vehicles at all levels of driving automation. We develop our products in close cooperation with sensor vendors, chip makers, vehicle manufacturers and other companies active in autonomous driving. We also the develop back-end sensor data intake and processing algorithms needed for our map operations.


Your responsibilities:



  • Establish and communicate the annular calendar for iterations and program increments (PI); facilitate PI planning readiness via pre and post PI planning meetings; aggregate team PI objectives into Program PI objectives (bottom-up) including ops and engineering deliveries

  • Track progress and report status; escalate and track impediments; manage risks and dependencies

  • Encourage the collaboration between teams and with architects and other players

  • Work with product management and product owners to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

  • Work within the ART budget; provide input on resourcing and critical bottlenecks

  • Drive continuous improvement; encourage team level and program level continuous integration and communities of practice around Agile, Lean, engineering and quality practices

  • Coach leaders, teams, Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets


What we expect from you:



  • University degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English

  • Have prior experience in similar role

  • Experience in leading and guiding teams according to scrum/agile methodology

  • Experience with JIRA is preferred
