You will play a key role in realizing new features and help building functionality that directly empowers our customers to visualize their data in web pages, data portals and Google’s knowledge panels.
You will work in a small dedicated team that includes the founders who have long experience in building modern (single page) web applications as well as extensive teaching and research experience in the field. As part of the team you have opportunities to become a lead frontend developer as well as get expertise around semantic technologies.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Participation in design and implementation of modular JavaScript Single Page Applications.
Development of user interfaces for web applications with high-quality UX.
Continued development of our Open Source JavaScript libraries.
We're looking for a frontend teammate who has,
Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5 and CSS with a good eye for design in your previous works.
Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React, Dojo, Angular.
Experience with development of single page applications.
Knowledge of common data formats such as JSON and validation techniques.
Good knowledge of development in Node.js.
Familiarity with the Web architecture, especially the principles behind REST.
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Bonus skill sets that makes you irresistible:
Experience of module loaders and build processes for JavaScript such as require.js and webpack.
Knowledge of Semantic Web / Linked Data technology stack.
Knowledge of internet search technologies, e.g. SEO, structured data etc.
Understanding of software engineering concepts including code metrics, load testing, and continuous delivery.
Ability to communicate in additional languages, e.g. Swedish/ German/ Spanish/ French/ Italian.
