We are seeking a dedicated professional for the full time position of a .Net Developer to create and enhance our school financial products. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the K12 Schools Development team. This position is ideal for those who are self-motivated, mentor other team members, willing to collaborate with other team members and take pride in delivering high quality results.
Primary Functions
- Developing, and maintaining enhancements within deadlines
- Release development methodology and change controls.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Effectively collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to prevent and resolve defects.
- Provide high level support for resolving production and customer support issues.
- Communicate clearly, and enable collaboration with other departments / teams as required.
- Be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
- Knowledge with Agile Scrum Process is helpful but not required
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, MIS or related field
- 5+ years of development experience in .NET technologies including C# and VB.Net
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports is a plus
- Experience building N-tiered software solutions and Windows Application Development
- Ability to develop the code for new system features from Functional Specification documents
- Ability to interact with customers and Support staff
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Experience with Payroll/HR or other financial applications software is a plus
