We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer who will be in charge of developing responsive websites and rich interactive experiences. You will be responsible for the technical leadership and implementation of rich interactive experiences and innovative client-side web applications leveraging HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript on both desktop and mobile browsers. This is your chance of being responsible for one of the highest traffic travel service in Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain rakuten travel websites and rich interactive experiences
- Update existing client and rakuten travel websites, develop cross-browser responsive web applications
- Research code design patterns, UI techniques and emerging web/mobile technologies
- Develop web application for web performance
- Be the performance expert from front(user) end side
- Works with API designer, server engineer and product manager
- Do whatever it takes to maintain a high quality UX and speedy website!
Skills & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience as a front engineer
- In-depth knowledge and experience designing and developing client-side interactive features using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of other Javascript libraries (Angular, Backbone, Underscore, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
