The Manager of Integration Engineering will play a central role in establishing the Ripple Network for financial institutions and their customers around the world, by overseeing all technical deployments of Ripple’s solutions with banking and payment systems of Ripple’s world-wide and fast-growing customer base.
The Manager of Integration Engineering will lead the Ripple Integration Engineering team, ensuring that the process from pre-sales to post-integration is fluid. You will be working closely with our Business Development, Project Management, Account Management, and Product Management teams.
THE ROLE WILL BE SAN FRANCISCO BASED, AND DIRECTLY MANAGE A TEAM OF TECHNICAL EXPERTS IN SAN FRANCISCO, LONDON, SYDNEY, SINGAPORE AND INDIA. IT WILL REQUIRE APPROXIMATELY 10-15% TRAVEL, MOSTLY INTERNATIONAL.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage the Ripple Integration Engineering team to ensure that the integration of Ripple technology and supporting processes with those of our customers runs smoothly and is appropriately configured to meet the demands of both high volume and maximum integrity
- Work with Business Development, Engineering, and Product teams to take software frameworks and oversee their successful implementation at key client sites
- Liaise with Product Management on client requirements, providing important customer feedback and insight to the product development process to continually improve Ripple’s offering as well as co-creating workable solutions to customer challenges
- Ensure frequent and meaningful communication with customers to better understand their integration needs and keep projects on track, tackling problems promptly and mitigating risk up-front
- Create and maintain project documents (requirements, SOW, risks, etc)
- Work with the Business Development team to consult on potential global integration projects
- Troubleshoot and solve technical and business related implementation problems in real-time
- Drive an integration process that will enable Ripple professional services to scale
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 10 years of experience working on an integration or technical sales team at a payment processing or systems integration company
- 5+ years of experience managing an integration or technical sales team
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience with enterprise integrations and/or Project Management experience on integration teams
- A creative problem-solver who is able to build confidence among customer technology teams
- A deep understanding of global settlements infrastructures (ACH, Fedwire, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, TARGET2)
- Past experience working on banking integrations
- Can serve as the face of Ripple to potential and existing clients
- Superior communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
