The Technical Team Lead should possess a wide range of technical knowledge and will be expected to spend a significant portion of your time actively designing, developing and reviewing code.
Primary Functions:
- Translating business goals & product requirements into actionable development plans.
- Ensuring that development projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Strategic planning, direction and control of product development activities; as well as technical input into the overall business strategy.
- Communicating strategy developments, providing ongoing executive updates, prioritizing initiatives, and escalating roadblocks to executive leadership.
- Communicating development progress and issues to management and across the organization.
- Proactively fostering and building channels of communication across business units to ensure collaboration and achievement of organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Experience with SaaS products and multi-tenant architectures
- Experience with agile processes such as Scrum
- Strong architectural/design skills with the ability to lead a project to completion
- Solid understanding of how web apps/servers and distributed system work
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming
- Demostrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
