As a Director, Engineering for our Marketplace team, you will be responsible for building and mentoring a group of motivated, talented engineers whose work ships to millions of people. You'll work closely with engineering leadership, as well as product managers and other stakeholders, to ensure our team ships great work on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Build a growing team of full-stack, front-end and back-end engineers.
- Recruit talented engineers to build your team.
- Partner with cross-functional team leaders to understand their engineering needs.
- Consult on the design and timelines of key projects with product managers, engineers, and functional leads.
- Work directly with Creative Market's engineering leadership to craft scalable processes, like mentorship-focused code reviews.
- Coach and mentor engineers by helping them advance their skills and move forward in their careers.
