Role : Java Lead
Job Objectives :
- Analyse and define detailed functional specification, user stories based on the business requirements document
- Collaborate with Functional Business Analyst and Business Unit to clarify with user stories, functional and non-functional requirement
- Design, Develop, Execute and Maintain a comprehensive application development and deployment specs for the system
- Work closely with business architects/analysts, development team and engineering teams to ensure enterprise architecture and development framework are aligned with the technology and business roadmaps
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Analyst to analyse, elicit and review business and functional requirements, user stories
- Participate and contribute to technical solutioning and design reviews with technology stakeholders
- Design, Write, Conduct and Review API specs, interface specs with downstream systems and technical design specs with System Analyst and Development Team
- Support technical activities like application development, coding and code reviews and optimization
- Investigate and resolve development (design issues, code bugs, etc) issues and provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Manage technical performance assessment of applications and coding standards
- Support project and delivery team all throughout the project implementation
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in related disciplines or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in Banking / Finance / IT; good knowledge in financial services policies, procedures, products and industry practices.
- Good knowledge in channel products for wholesale banking focusing user experience/journey, validation and processing will also be preferred
- Good Open API knowledge for design and delivery
- Strong development skills in Java technology (Java 8/11, Restful API/Service, Spring Boot, Camel, iBatis, SQL)
- Technical competent with middleware products (JBoss, Oracle) and Unix/Linux O/S platform
- Reasonable communication and inter-personal skills to manage functional and technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding and experience in standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodology.
