We are evolving fast and so we are on the lookout for a Software Architect with a core speciality working in a Java/Node.JS/AWS ecosystem who thrives in fast paced and dynamic (not just a buzzword) environment, where innovation and continual improvement are the norm. Let's just say, we're realistic in that we know we're awesome at being the size we are but in order to achieve the aggressive growth targets ahead of us (aka rapid), we know we don't already have all the answers and so we are NOT looking for the assimilators or the process followers. Success in SiteMinder will be achievable if you are someone who is forever curious, asking questions and seeking answers, challenging prevailing perceptions driving outcomes.
Skills and experience we're after:
· Expert level design and architectural skills in Java stack environment.
· Polyglot mind-set and tech agnostic – always seeking the right tools for the best outcome
· Expert level experience in globally distributed Saas applications using AWS
· Advocating best practice software development processes and tooling at a senior level
· The hands-on leader who can design a POC but can also lead the execution
· Experience mentoring teams of software developers
· Passion for driving best practices and methodological approaches
· Commercially minded technical leader who can understand and navigate conflicting priorities
· A mentor, and a leader by nature and outside the box thinker
· Ability to earn respect of existing senior technical team.
· Solid commercial acumen and strong project management skills
