What You Will Do:
We are looking for an experienced test engineer to help establish and grow our test automation practice. You will:
- Identify and/or improve and refine test automation tools and frameworks.
- Create test strategies and plans, prioritizing based on most added value–not automating everything but rather those areas with maximum ROI.
- Personally author and maintain UI tests, API tests, and work with developers to maximize automation value that they can contribute as well.
- Collaborate with QA analysts, product managers, and devs to continuously refine and improve our automation and QA practices.
What We Need:
- At least three years of test engineering experience, or equivalent general software
development experience with significant automation experience - A strong passion and drive for ensuring software quality and great user experience.
- Demonstrable experience with one or more test automation tools and frameworks,
ideally Selenium Web driver, Postman, and related. - Strong competence with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and can show ability to handcraft
tests as well as diagnose/debug/fix tests that use these. - Evidence of prior test strategy, planning, and execution.
- Positive, can-do attitude with initiative to plan your own work, execute, and resolve
issues proactively.
