Senior Frontend Software Engineer (TypeScript, Angular) at Aktis (Hlavní msto Praha, Czechia)

Aktis is a tech and research start-up led by young, experienced professionals, with offices in London and Prague. Our goal is to extract valuable governance data that is buried in thousands of disparate reports, filings, and websites, and make this data available from beautiful, well-designed interfaces.

We believe in agile, cross functional teams. As an engineer at Aktis you could be working on our Angular frontend, Django backend, Kubernetes deployments, or data mining systems. Whatever you do, you’ll be working closely with our team of expert analysts to design the best possible product.

We’re looking for engineers who can take ownership of problems and code, make tough decisions, and become a foundational part of a fast growing company.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Building dashboards for our clients and internal users to explore our data


• Working closely with our internal users to ensure that our interfaces provide the best possible UI/UX for themselves and our clients

Must have skills:

• At least 5 years of working experience in a professional environment. 


• Thorough knowledge of modern JS (ES2016+) or TypeScript, and of HTML/CSS.


• At least 2 years of experience with Angular 2+.


• Experience with state management systems such as Redux.


• Exposure to CSS frameworks, preferably Semantic UI.


• Python programming experience, especially with web frameworks such as Django.


• Some exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker.

We can pay up to the following per month:

- up to 110k / month if permanent.
- up to 9k / day if contractor.

All candidates should be based in (or willing to relocate to) Prague.
