You don’t have to come from a Computer Science background but you do need to love technology and have a desire to learn new technologies and advance your skills.
If you have experience working on distributed systems even better but don’t worry this can be taught, then you can pass on this knowledge to other people in the future.
You will need to have some experience with an OO based language, here you will be using Java but they are open minded to what you have used before and have hired people with backgrounds in Java, Kotlin, Python, C++, C# etc
When you join you will be one of the first engineers on the ground in London and you will be working closely alongside the existing teams based out of Sydney and Chicago.
As a collaborative team you will be building a brand new trade booking system, you will personally be working across the full stack (Angular front end, Java back end) and using container tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
The office and working environment is one of the best I've ever seen! Everyone has a voice, your ideas are welcomed, and your specific strengths/knowledge will be respected.
