For our Syndication team, we are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who is passionate about Design Driven Development and Architectures. We work in a cross functional team with our product owner, QA and developers to provide the metadata backends for the online appearances of some of Europe's most popular entertainment brands.
Our Tech Stack
- We develop using TypeScript
- We do TDD with Jest
- We do automation test with Cucumber
- We use AWS to run our product infrastructure, and Gitlab as CI/CD platform
What you can expect in this role
- You are actively involved in the entire agile software development process, from concept to production and will develop high-availability solutions for several million end users
- You’ll develop scalable backend serverless services
- In our DevOps culture you are part of the further improvement of our CI (Continuous Integration)/ CD (Continuous Deployment) setup
- You are writing elegant, maintainable and tested code
- Documenting and communicating technical concepts in a comprehensive manner complete to your daily business
- You contribute to an agile development team
Your essential experience and education
- You have successfully completed a degree in informatics or have an equivalent education
- You have experience using Typescript/Node.js and in writing highly tested software (unit testing, integration testing)
- You also worked with cloud platform AWS
- You are aware of cloud software quality assurance techniques: TDD, code reviews, unit and integration tests, automated tests
- You love to work with design patterns
- You are proactive and do not shy away from taking over responsibility
- You possess very good English skills
