As a Lead Engineer, you will help your team build mission-critical scalable applications that improve and automate processes across departments in Zalando Outlets. You will help your colleagues to grow and guide your team to work autonomously on inspiring challenges.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Design and build applications that power processes across all departments (including our warehouse) using leading-edge technologies
- Ensure a state-of-the-art product development methodology providing a great developer experience for the internal users of your systems
- Lead a small and agile team of 2 other engineers disciplinarily on eye level
- Coach your colleagues to help them grow their technical as well as their soft skills
YOU ARE SKILLED
- You have strong architecture knowledge in designing APIs and Microservices, databases design, software design and cloud technologies: 5+ years of experience in developing backend GoLang, (Postgre)SQL databases and AWS. Previous experience working with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
- Passionate about the agile way of working. As a Lead Engineer, you lead and coach your employees as a servant leader
- Constantly strive to improve the environment you are working in, the architecture you are building and the skills of your colleagues and yourself
- Take ownership of the products you build from design to operations
