As a senior developer you will partner with members of the Pyramid team and business users to perform full life cycle development of web-based system and provide IT Support for Federal Client for their centralized web-based system used by Enforcement to manage and track cases. The Senior Java Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications. This team will be handling supporting existing application by providing production support and adding new features to the web application.
Responsibilities
- Strong work experience with Java (Spring and JEE/J2EE), JSF, REST, iBatis, JSON and JavaScript.
- Strong work experience with Angular or React along with 508 compliance.
- Works well within an agile development team.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with spring framework is ideal.
- Should be able to support production deployment during off hours
- Experience interacting with business users to accurately understand their business area and their requirements.
- Skilled at communicating solution options to business users and help facilitate decisions.
- Strong at understanding requirements and transforming business requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
- 10+ years of experience is required for this position.
Qualifications
Education:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
