We are recruiting for our friendly and motivated Build & Delivery Tooling team at idealo.
As a build & release engineer (DevOps) you are supporting and consulting our developers with your skills and experience around continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) in an agile environment.
Together with the team you care and develop our CI/CD systems further. You make sure that they are available and run stable. As a service team, we support and enable our software developers (Java, PHP, Python, Node) and feature teams to be able to develop in their own pace with different technology-stacks independently. We are using “state-of-the-art” technologies and use tools like Groovy, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Bitbucket, Puppet, Ansible and Linux.

About your new role
- Develop, operate and consult our CI/CD environment to make our platform available in a full-service manner
- Consult and support coworkers in the usage and configuration of our CI/CD
- Based on OpenShift (Kubernetes) you will be working together across teams on a solution for container orchestration in the data center
- You will be working with your team to keep the infrastructure for the developers stable and running
- Customer focus goes for you without saying. You understand automation as a strategy to enable and empower our developers to work in an agile way
Skills & Requirements
- You have good knowledge about Linux
- You know how to program and build software with one or more programming languages, for instance, Java, Python, Groovy or others
- You are eager to learn and work in an agile working environment
- You are a team player and you work customer-oriented
- You enjoy collaborating across different teams to implement innovative and great solutions for a wide range of requirements and issues
- You have general experience with CI/CD and are eager to learn more about the administration and working of CI/CD systems
- You are ready to deal with several different technology stacks
