My client, Nationwide retailer, located just North of Culver City, CA is looking for an Applications Developer JAVA/Groovy to join their growing team. Great work environment/offices, excellent team atmosphere, very visible position.
Requirements:
A BS or MS degree in CS, MIS, or related intensive technical training
Coursework and/or experience developing full-stack software in the Java enterprise
Coursework and/or experience with Groovy and JavaScript
Coursework and/or experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Related experience or coursework with relational databases and SQL development.
Experience with technologies such as Groovy, Grails is a plus
Experience with cloud development platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) a plus
Knowledge in Java web application user interface design and implementation including HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Strong interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Strong team player that works well in a collaborative environment
Understanding of the SDLC
Responsibilities to include
Responsible for client services implementation and technology integrations
Take requirements from concept design through to working solutions
Ability to learn and integrate with 3rd party technologies
Ability to think creatively and contribute to new ideas and initiatives
Work with product management to communicate key internal technology initiatives
Work with customer success team to enable customer requirements
Develop Java / Groovy web applications using Grails 3.x.
Develop Java web application user interfaces using recent user interface tools.
