ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

·       The Senior Software Engineer in this position will have the unique opportunity to work on challenging as well as fast moving and complex projects and will be a very important part of the company’s Mission Systems Team.

·       Design, develop and test real time, embedded software for embedded RTOS based products with focus on creation of a visual user interface for systems software or end-user.

·       You will be using application programming interfaces (API) like OpenGL to build 3-D engines and rendering systems for 2-D and 3-D visuals 

·       You will also be asked to provide, from your experience, your sound technical guidance on a variety of areas including software architecture, software design/development, testing, integration, and documentation.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

• Expertise in Aviation, Cockpit and Display Systems
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering design role.
• Proficient in C, C++, RTOS, multithreading, software design tools and methodologies, and software design patterns.
• Exposure to coding and debugging on an embedded hardware platform with knowledge of with software configuration management tools.
• Hands-on experience in DO-178 for safety-critical software.
• Knowledge, ARINC 661, and graphical language such as SCADE.
• Familiarity with Green Hills Integrity, Linux or other real-time or embedded operating systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Software or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
