Job Description

Lead Virtual Environment Systems Administrator: Candidate will be the lead for the Team and coordinate tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the team to ensure performance of IT service delivery.

Required: Candidate must be technically proficient with hardware such as servers, NAS, SANs, Microsoft OS's such as Windows Server 2012R2 and later, VMware ESXi hosts, VCenter, Linux and Windows 10 and later; and Microsoft Server applications such as SQL Server, SharePoint and Commvault Configuration and Administration. Diagnose and correct OS and server application problems; build new systems by installing the Army Gold Master (AGM) approved OS, server applications, and required security patches; and identify and install required drivers. Candidate must be certified in the latest Microsoft Server OS approved by the Department of the Army or DoD. Candidate must be proficient with the monitoring and configuring of servers to ensure peak performance. Candidate must be proficient with tape backup and other backup solutions. Candidate must be proficient with Active Directory and Group Policy. Candidate must be able to establish, maintain, modify, and administer system and user accounts in Active Directory. Candidate must be able to establish, maintain, modify, and administer group policy in Active Directory. Candidate must be able to troubleshoot and correct system problems caused by group policies. Candidate must be able to specify, estimate, and recommend the hardware required to support the intended server use. Candidate must be able to assemble and configure new hardware, diagnose and correct hardware problems, perform upgrades, and install new or replacement hardware. Candidate must be proficient in the creation and running of scripts against the OU for the purpose of extracting data and producing reports for various tasks, projects and data calls. Candidate must be proficient in the monitoring of space utilization and backup logs. Candidate must be proficient with Commvault Enterprise Backup software and/or other backup methods such as VMware snapshots, Nutanix Acropolis replication, Veeam Backup, DELL or VMware Data Protection Solutions, etc. Candidate must possess experience providing supervision of personnel performing applicable duties.

Candidate is required to have IT Level (IAW AR 25-2) of IT-II. Candidate is required to have experience with Investigation Required at Tier 3 level. Candidate is required to have IA Certification Category and Level (IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002) of IAT-II. Candidate is required to have Computing Environment Certification for VMWARE.

Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.

This is a full-time position located in Natik, MA.
